Our services include design, manufacture, erection and commissioning of all types of water tube boilers for solid, liquid and gaseous fuels as used in the petrochemical, process and power industries.

Recently MBH Energy has expanded its portfolio to include emission control equipment ranging from mechanical collectors to Bay Alter Plants. All of our equipment meets strict international particulate levels. We also have considerable experience in mechanical collectors, wet gas scrubbers and bag filters for high temperature applications.
Our over 60 years of collective experience in the boiler industry and emission control equipment means we are one of the industry leaders in Southern Africa.
That experience means that our customers get quality equipment, with professional installation to make sure that their businesses are able to efficiently, consistently, and cleanly produce power to run their operations.
We were contracted to rehabilitate the NamPower Van Eck Power Station to help provide Namibia with energy security. The power station had been built in the early 1970’s and was approaching the end of her life. MBHE came in and installed new, modern firing equipment on all four of the boilers which would ensure a successful and efficient firing of mixed fuels. This modernization of the firing equipment allowed for the use of “green coal” with coal in the firing of the boilers. This meant that local resources like an invasive bush which had been harvested and through the torrefaction process would provide cleaner fuel for the combustion process.
On top of this new equipment was the modernization of the DSC Roto Grate system that would allow the “green coal” and normal coal to become more efficient in its energy output by reducing the carbon content of the ash. This system was the very first of its type on the African continent. All of this will help the Van Eck Power Station take some of the strain off of the Namibian government which plans to become entirely energy independent instead of relying on importing electricity from neighbouring countries.
MBHE also provides emission control equipment ranging from mechanical collectors to Bag filter Plants. Our gas emission clean up equipment meets stringent international particulate levels. We have considerable experience in mechanical collectors, wet gas scrubbers and bag filters for high temperature applications.
MBHE, arranges its team in a task force approach and is well qualified to design with in-house technology and execute contracts, on a turnkey basis, for industrial boiler plants in a highly competitive and professional manner.
